Santa Clara, California, United States, January 2026 — LuJean Smith has joined GlobalLogic as Chief Marketing Officer, bringing with her nearly three decades of global experience across marketing, communications, brand strategy, and reputation management in technology, healthcare, financial services, and professional services.
In her new role at GlobalLogic, LuJean will lead the company’s global marketing strategy, strengthening brand positioning, demand generation, thought leadership, and integrated communications as the organization continues to scale its design, data, and digital engineering capabilities worldwide.
Prior to this appointment, LuJean served as Senior Vice President, Marketing at Algoworks, where she played a key role in advancing the company’s marketing and growth agenda. Before that, she spent over four years at Cognizant, most recently as Chief Marketing Officer for Health Sciences (Healthcare & Life Sciences). In this role, she led marketing strategy for a business unit contributing nearly one-third of Cognizant’s revenue, overseeing global teams across account-based marketing, digital, thought leadership, sales enablement, and communications.
Earlier in her career, LuJean held senior marketing and communications leadership roles at Accenture, where she led marketing and communications for Life Sciences R&D Services and supported the launch of the INTIENT life sciences technology platform. She also served as Vice President, Marketing at Science Exchange, driving brand and growth initiatives for the high-growth R&D platform.
Her professional journey further includes leadership positions at Worldwide Clinical Trials, Lincoln Financial Group, GE Water & Process Technologies, Huntington National Bank, Premier Health Partners, and Siemens Healthineers, where she built and led award-winning marketing, public relations, and corporate communications functions across global markets.
LuJean began her career in marketing and communications with organizations including Cascadia Community College, Sparling (a Stantec company), and Western Oregon University, developing a strong foundation in media relations, institutional branding, and stakeholder communications.
