Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, February 2026 — Macleods Pharmaceuticals Ltd. has appointed Mr. Ashok Kumar Prasad as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He has assumed the role in February 2026 and will be based in Mumbai.
As CFO, Prasad will lead the company’s financial strategy, governance, capital allocation, and performance management, supporting Macleods’ continued expansion as a vertically integrated global pharmaceutical organization.
Prior to joining Macleods Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Prasad served as President – Finance at PI Industries Ltd, where he was responsible for strategic financial planning and driving business transformation initiatives.
Earlier, he held leadership roles at Adani Ports and SEZ, including Merger Acquisition (M&A) and Business Development Lead, and Head Finance – Adani Logistic Ltd, where he led growth strategy, expansion initiatives (greenfield and brownfield), process automation, and instilled strong financial discipline across operations.
Before Adani Group, Prasad spent nearly seven years at Mondelēz International, serving as Finance Controller (Corporate Accounting & Reporting and Cash Flow Management) and in various supply chain and contract manufacturing finance leadership roles. He led controllership responsibilities for India and Bangladesh entities, managed IFRS and US GAAP reporting, strengthened internal controls, and drove working capital optimization.
Earlier in his career, he held key finance leadership positions at Jindal Steel & Power Ltd., Ford Motor Company, and Tata Motors, driving P&L management, product costing, FP&A, taxation, budgeting, and operational efficiency initiatives across domestic and international markets.
With extensive experience across pharmaceuticals, logistics, FMCG, automotive, and infrastructure sectors, Prasad brings strong expertise in strategic planning, financial governance, business analytics, digital transformation, and M&A to Macleods Pharmaceuticals.
