Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, February 2026 – Shipsy has announced the appointment of Mahdy Sinnokrot as Director, Growth – KSA, as the company accelerates its strategic expansion in the Middle East.
Based out of Jeddah, Mahdy will lead Shipsy’s growth charter across significant value accounts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, driving strategic partnerships and expanding the company’s footprint with leading enterprises across the region. His mandate includes delivering measurable customer value that drives long-term engagement and scalable growth, reinforcing Shipsy’s AI-native, orchestration-driven supply chain transformation agenda.
Mahdy brings extensive leadership experience across global logistics and retail organizations, including Aramex, IKEA Saudi Arabia, DB Schenker, Jumia Group, and most recently FLOW Progressive Logistics. Over the years, he has demonstrated deep expertise in scaling operations, launching new service verticals, and navigating complex enterprise environments across the Middle East and Africa.
Prior to joining Shipsy, Mahdy served as Head of New Products & Services at FLOW Progressive Logistics, where he was responsible for designing and implementing new services and technology solutions impacting supply chain planning and execution. Earlier, as Supply Chain Design Manager at IKEA Saudi Arabia, he led supply chain optimization initiatives across the Kingdom.
His previous leadership tenure at FLOW Progressive Logistics as Chief Operating Officer saw him driving operational excellence and growth initiatives. At Jumia Group, he held global supply chain roles in Cairo, contributing to the standardization of logistics operations across Africa and Emerging Asia, including designing new logistics facilities and processing hubs.
Mahdy’s earlier career includes regional leadership roles at DB Schenker in Dubai and extensive operational leadership at Aramex across Egypt and Jordan, where he managed large distribution centers, executed major logistics center setups, and led large-scale supply chain operations supporting FMCG, fashion retail, and industrial verticals.
As Shipsy partners with enterprises to transition from fragmented legacy systems to AI-native, orchestration-led supply chain models, leadership on the ground in Saudi Arabia becomes critical. Mahdy’s consultative, value-driven approach—focused on long-term impact, cross-functional alignment, and outcome-led growth—mirrors Shipsy’s enterprise engagement philosophy.
Saudi Arabia represents a strategic growth market for Shipsy, and the company is strengthening its regional presence with Mahdy leading this next phase of expansion.
