Hyderabad, Telangana, India, November 2025 — Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, a global pharmaceutical leader headquartered in Hyderabad, has announced the elevation of Manish Shukla to Global Head HR – Corporate | Head – HR Strategy. This appointment reflects the company’s continued focus on building a high-impact people strategy and leadership capability across its global functions, aligned with its purpose of ‘Good Health Can’t Wait’.
In his expanded role, Manish will oversee global HR strategy, learning and development, and organizational effectiveness for corporate functions including Finance, HR, Digital, Process Excellence, Legal & Compliance, Corporate Affairs, and the CXO Office. Partnering with seven CXOs and over 50 senior leaders across 30+ countries, he will be responsible for driving enterprise-wide capability building, leadership development, and HR governance for more than 2,000 employees worldwide.
Throughout his tenure at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Manish has played a central role in designing innovative HR strategies, leading learning academies, and steering multiple global HR transformation projects. His leadership has been pivotal in aligning human capital strategies with organizational priorities and fostering a culture that values both business performance and human connection.
Before joining Dr. Reddy’s, Manish served as Head HRBP – Corporate Functions | Group Head COE – Campus Talent, Engagement & HR Sustainability at ITC Limited, where he led talent management, campus hiring, engagement, and HR sustainability initiatives across the conglomerate. His contributions significantly enhanced ITC’s ESG and employee engagement indices. Earlier, at Samsung Electronics, he managed HR for high-revenue regional operations, building high-performing sales and consumer electronics teams. His early HR leadership journey includes impactful roles at Tata Advanced Systems Limited, where he led Compensation, Performance, and Talent Management initiatives, and successfully drove workforce modernization and capability programs.
An alumnus of the Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon, where he earned his MBA in Human Resources, Manish also holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) degree from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani. His educational foundation combines scientific acumen with strategic HR thinking, complementing his philosophy of leading at the intersection of business and humanity.
