Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, January 2026 — Compass Group India, part of the global leader in food and facility management services, has announced the appointment of Manu Sankar as Vice President – Food Services. In his new role, he will oversee strategic growth, operations excellence, and customer experience across Compass India’s food services portfolio, further strengthening its leadership position in the corporate and institutional catering sector.
With over two decades of experience in the hospitality and food services industry, Manu brings deep expertise in operations management, brand growth, customer engagement, and people leadership. Known for driving business transformation through innovation and culture-building, he has played a pivotal role in scaling Compass India’s food services operations over the past eight years.
Since joining Compass Group India in 2018, Manu has progressed through key leadership roles including Regional Director of Operations and Assistant Vice President – Food Services, where he led initiatives that enhanced brand visibility, operational efficiency, and service quality across client locations.
Prior to Compass, he held significant leadership roles at Paradise Food Court Pvt. Ltd. (Paradise Biryani) as Market Manager – Karnataka, Tata Starbucks as District Manager, and Pizza Hut in multiple capacities including Regional Manager, Area Manager, and Assistant Manager – Training. His early career with Taj Hotels Palaces Resorts Safaris laid the foundation for his strong operational and customer service orientation.
