Athens, Attiki, Greece, December 2025 — Mara Kametopoulou has been appointed as Chief People Officer at V+O Group, where she will lead the organization’s People & Culture agenda across seven countries. In this role, she will drive people strategy, culture transformation, and organizational excellence as V+O enters its next phase of growth across the EMEA region.
A seasoned HR executive and culture transformation leader, Kametopoulou will focus on strengthening collaboration, fostering inclusion and belonging, and building a workplace where talent is inspired, supported, and enabled to grow. Her appointment reflects V+O Group’s commitment to embedding a strong people-first philosophy while scaling its integrated communications capabilities across international markets.
In her most recent role prior to joining V+O Group, Kametopoulou served as Head of Human Resources at IID S.A., where she led HR strategy across a complex business environment, supporting organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and people processes during a period of change and consolidation.
Before this, she spent over two years with BIC as HR Business Partner – Manufacturing, where she worked closely with operations and leadership teams, strengthening workforce planning, employee engagement, and HR business partnering within a manufacturing context.
A significant portion of her career was shaped at Teva Pharmaceuticals (Specifar S.A.), where she spent over a decade in progressive HR leadership roles, including Human Resources Supervisor and Human Resources Officer. During this period, she gained deep expertise in HR operations, employee relations, and organizational development within a highly regulated and complex pharmaceutical environment.
Earlier in her career, Kametopoulou held specialist and advisory roles across organizations such as Vodafone, Mellon Group of Companies, WIND Hellas, and OPEKEPE Payment and Control Agency, building a strong foundation in compensation & benefits, HR consulting, budgeting, reporting, and training administration—experience that continues to inform her strategic and analytical approach to people leadership.
