São Paulo, Brazil, August 2024 – Marcela Ribeiro has begun her new role as Director of People Experience at Stori, where she will be responsible for leading Learning & Development (L&D), Talent Management, and Organizational Culture initiatives. Marcela’s efforts will be instrumental in developing and empowering Stori’s employees, known as “Storians,” to further their career growth within the company’s mission to promote financial inclusion across Latin America.
Before joining Stori, Marcela served as an MBA Professor at Unifesp – Universidade Federal de São Paulo, beginning in July 2024. In this role, she focused on teaching Talent Management, L&D, Organizational Culture, and Leadership to MBA students. Simultaneously, she was an Invited Professor at Fundação Dom Cabral, where she delivered courses on similar themes, sharing her expertise in Talent Management and Organizational Culture with postgraduate students.
Marcela also held a key position at Nubank as the Global Talent and L&D Lead for over two years. During her tenure, she was instrumental in the Human and Organizational Development of Tech Functions and Global Business Units across several countries, including Brazil, the USA, Germany, and Mexico. Her role included leading Talent Strategy, Business Partnership, and L&D initiatives, crucial in Nubank’s transition from a startup to a consolidated $50B+ company after its IPO.
Additionally, Marcela was a Senior Human and Organizational Development Consultant at Phōz Lab from June 2020 to February 2024. She played a pivotal role in consulting on Talent, L&D, and Culture for major clients across various industries.
