Marie Lenail-Chouteau has recently taken the helm as Chief People Officer at Electra. With an illustrious career spanning over 15 years in various facets of human resources and talent management, Lenail-Chouteau is set to propel Electra’s people strategy to new heights.
Before joining Electra, Lenail-Chouteau made significant strides as the Global Vice President of People at Malt, where she was instrumental in formulating and delivering the company’s human capital strategy. Under her leadership, Malt saw the development of a superior People team, the enhancement of its employer brand, and the successful integration of Comatch, an acquired German company, among other achievements.
Her tenure at Criteo as Senior Director of Talent & Learning further exemplifies her capacity to drive human capital initiatives that align with corporate strategy. During her nearly four-year engagement, Criteo experienced substantial growth, expanding its workforce from 1000 to 4000 employees globally. Lenail-Chouteau led a distributed high-performance Talent team, implementing key talent programs, enhancing engagement, and championing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
In addition to her roles at Malt and Criteo, Lenail-Chouteau contributed her expertise to the INSEAD Alumni Association France as VP of Diversity & Inclusion, supporting the organization in its efforts to foster a more inclusive environment. Her early career involved impactful positions at TotalEnergies, where she spearheaded global talent development and HR transformation projects, and as an HR Consultant and Executive Coach, delivering leadership facilitation and coaching across the tech and banking sectors.
