MICHIGAN, USA — Marinela Ombashi has stepped into a new role as Director of HR Operations and Global Functions – Clean Air at Tenneco, a pivotal position aimed at bolstering the company’s HR capabilities across its Clean Air division. With a decade of experience in human resources management within the automotive industry, Ombashi is set to drive significant advancements in Tenneco’s HR strategies.
Ombashi brings extensive expertise in HR operations and talent management to her new role. Her career began at Faurecia, where she developed foundational skills in HR management. She then progressed to Sodecia as a Human Resources Generalist, gaining further experience in employee relations and HR policy implementation.
Before joining Tenneco, Ombashi was the Director of Human Resources for North America at Eissmann Group Automotive. From October 2022 to April 2024, she led regional HR operations and talent management, where she was instrumental in developing and executing HR strategies that supported the company’s regional and global objectives.
Following her tenure at Sodecia, Ombashi moved to Rheinmetall Automotive, where she served as a Senior HR Generalist and then as HR Manager for multiple sites in Michigan and California. During her time at Rheinmetall, she honed her skills in managing complex HR functions across different geographical locations, enhancing her expertise in multi-site HR management.
