Manila, Philippines, January 2026 — Asialink Finance Corporation has appointed Mark Joseph Cancino as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this role, Mark will lead the organization’s people strategy, strengthening talent, culture, leadership capability, and HR systems as Asialink continues to scale its nationwide presence and inclusive financial services footprint across the Philippines.
A seasoned HR and organization development leader, Mark brings a strong blend of corporate HR leadership, organizational development expertise, academic engagement, and consulting-led people transformation. His appointment underscores Asialink’s focus on building future-ready HR leadership that can support performance, employee experience, and business growth in a rapidly evolving financial services environment.
Prior to joining Asialink Finance Corporation, Mark Joseph Cancino served for nearly three years as Head of Organization Development at Jade Pinnacle Consolidated, Inc. In this role, he acted as a strategic partner to leaders and managers, designed and implemented performance management systems across affiliates, conducted organization reviews and job evaluation programs, facilitated strategic planning sessions, and managed talent management and development initiatives—work that positioned him strongly for enterprise-wide HR leadership responsibilities.
Alongside his corporate roles, Mark has built a long-standing entrepreneurial and consulting career as President of Ideaversify Human Resources and Organization Development Consultancy, a people strategy advisory and capability-building platform he has led for over a decade. Through Ideaversify, he has partnered with organizations to design talent management and organization development interventions, deliver learning programs and culture workshops, and support leadership development and coaching—strengthening HR capability at scale.
Mark also brings experience in leadership development and HR business partnering from roles with highly respected organizations. He served briefly at Metrobank as Leadership Development Senior Manager, where he designed the institutional leadership development program across managerial and leadership levels and implemented executive programs through external partnerships. Prior to that, he worked at Canva as a Human Resources Business Partner, supporting specialty teams such as design and engineering and contributing to scalable people foundations, hiring, onboarding, learning programs, performance, engagement, and retention strategies for a high-growth organization.
Earlier in his career, Mark served as Head of Organization Development and Labor Relations, Senior Manager at SM Lifestyle Inc., where he led OD, talent management, labor relations, engagement, and communications, while managing governance and compliance practices and end-to-end labor case processes. He also held the role of Human Resources and General Affairs Manager at Nissan Philippines, Inc., where he led organization development, people planning, total rewards, talent acquisition and development, engagement, performance management, and diversity and wellbeing initiatives. His foundational HR development experience also includes roles with Jollibee Foods Corporation and academic teaching responsibilities at the university level.
