Avonmouth, England, United Kingdom, July 2024 – Mark Powell has been appointed as the new Chief People Officer at Harding+, the market leader in cruise retailing. In his new role, Mark will lead the people strategy at Harding+, bringing his extensive expertise in organizational development, change management, and strategic HR leadership to the company.
Mark Powell joins Harding+ from PepTalks, where he has been an Honorary Member supporting members through his extensive experience in people and transformation. At Saga plc., he served as Chief People Officer – Interim, leading significant organizational transformation and development across multiple business units including insurance, personal finance, travel, and digital media.
Prior to Saga plc., Mark held the position of Chief People Officer at RAC, where he was responsible for the group’s overall people strategy. His career also includes roles as Chief People Officer and Hotels Operating Officer at Splendid Hospitality Group, Interim Human Resources Director at Wincanton, and Chief People Officer at Prezzo Ltd. Additionally, Mark served in leadership roles at Poundland & Dealz, FatFace, and Woolworths.
