Toronto, Ontario, Canada, July 2025 – Mark Segal has taken on a new role as Chief Financial Officer at EG Group, marking a dynamic return from retirement. In his new capacity, he will work closely with the global leadership team and private equity partners to steer the company’s financial growth strategy with a strong focus on profitability and sustainability.
Mark Segal brings with him over two decades of executive financial leadership across global brands. Prior to joining EG Group, he spent over 10 years at Spin Master, most recently serving as EVP Finance and Chief Financial Officer, where he led all aspects of global financial operations including capital structure, M&A, treasury, tax, planning, and reporting. He previously held the CFO position at Spin Master for nearly nine years earlier in his career.
Before rejoining Spin Master, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Canada Goose, overseeing global finance, operations, and supply chain. He also held the position of VP Finance and CFO at Husky Technologies, where he managed financial operations across multiple international sites and product lines.
Earlier in his career, Mark held several high-impact financial roles including Vice President and Treasurer at Norigen Communications, Director of Treasury and Finance at Husky, and Managing Director at National Home Products in South Africa. He also contributed as a Non-Executive Director at Milacron, strengthening his governance and board-level expertise.
In addition to his executive leadership roles, Mark continues to serve as Director at Trillium Health Partners Foundation, underlining his commitment to community and social impact.
