Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, August 2024 – The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, India (IACC) has appointed Robin Rosario as the Deputy Director. In his new role, Robin will be pivotal in driving the chamber’s mission to enhance economic engagement between India and the United States. With a history of promoting bilateral trade and investment, IACC continues to be the leading platform for fostering collaboration and sustainable growth between the two nations.
Prior to joining IACC, Robin served as Senior Assistant Director at the Indian Chamber of Commerce from January 2023 to July 2024. In this role, he played a crucial part in organizing key events and initiatives, such as the Banking Summit 2023, which set the course for innovation in finance and technology.
Before that, Robin was the Secretary General of the US-India Importers’ Council (USIIC) for over seven years, where he significantly contributed to strengthening import relations and earned accolades from the U.S. Consulate General in Mumbai.
Earlier in his career, Robin held various leadership positions, including AGM Sales at Hungama Digital Media Entertainment and Head of Sponsorship Sales at UBM India Pvt Ltd, showcasing his expertise in sales, business development, and event management.
With over two decades of experience in strategic roles across different sectors, Robin Rosario brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to his new position at IACC, where he will continue to advance the chamber’s goals of promoting Indo-U.S. trade relations.
