Choudhary as its new Head of Human Resources & Industrial Relations (HR & IR) for its Freight Equipment Business.
In his new role, Saurabh will spearhead the overarching HR and IR strategy for the division. He will partner closely with business leaders and stakeholders to design and execute high-impact people strategies centered on workforce productivity, operational cost optimization, and multi-facility industrial relations management.
Saurabh brings a wealth of senior leadership experience across large-scale industrial and manufacturing landscapes. He transitioned to Wabtec from KEC International Ltd., where he served as the Head of HR for South Asia. During his transformative tenure at KEC, Saurabh aligned human resource initiatives with aggressive engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) market growth demands. Notably, his talent strategy and operational leadership directly anchored a massive period of expansion, facilitating a 27.39% revenue increase from ₹4,494 Cr in FY24 to ₹5,725 Cr in FY25.
Prior to his milestone achievements at KEC International, Saurabh built a distinguished track record driving organizational growth at world-class companies. His extensive professional footprint includes serving as the Head of HR at Colgate-Palmolive, and leading pivotal human resource verticals at Crompton Greaves (Consumer Electricals segment) and General Electric (GE).
Saurabh holds deep expertise in merging robust HR frameworks with bottom-line corporate deliverables, making him uniquely equipped to support Wabtec’s continued trajectory of innovation and industrial efficiency.
