Bangkok, Thailand, July 2025 – Mark Shrives has been elevated to the role of Vice President, APEC Digital (Asia Pacific Excluding Greater China) at Marriott International. In this newly formed leadership role, he will oversee the integration of Marriott Digital Services (MDS) and Digital Products teams into a unified APEC Digital Organization, driving demand, delivering localized digital experiences, and supporting the company’s digital acceleration across the region.
Prior to his promotion, Mark served as Senior Director, Client Services, MDS APEC for nearly six years, where he led digital activation programs for over 330 hotels across Asia Pacific. His leadership was pivotal in enhancing Marriott’s digital visibility and optimizing production outcomes across diverse markets.
Earlier, he held the role of Director, Field Digital Services for Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Myanmar. In this position, Mark was instrumental in aligning local hotel digital strategies with global and regional objectives, overseeing digital initiatives across more than 50 properties.
Before joining Marriott, Mark led regional e-commerce efforts at Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts and held Vice President roles in e-commerce at MBK Hospitality, Pathumwan Princess Hotel, and Hansar Hotels. His early work in digital strategy at Road|Book Magazine and consultancy roles in leading Thai hospitality groups solidified his expertise in digital transformation, online brand development, and revenue optimization.
He began his career in revenue management at All Seasons Resort Lodging in the U.S. and holds an MBA in Accounting and Business/Management from Westminster University.
