Warsaw Metropolitan Area, Poland, August 2024 – Marta Jakowluk has joined OLX Group as the new Chief People Officer for Europe and South Africa. In this role, Marta will oversee all human resources functions across the region, focusing on recruitment, benefits, employee relations, and leadership development. She aims to enhance the employee experience and drive organizational success by leveraging data and industry best practices.
Marta Jakowluk has begun her tenure as the Chief People Officer for Europe and South Africa at OLX Group, where she will lead HR strategies to foster a productive and inclusive workplace.
Prior to joining OLX Group, Marta served as the Chief People Officer at Leroy Merlin from October 2022 to August 2024, where she led HR initiatives to support organizational growth and employee engagement. Before that, she was the Chief People Officer at UPC Polska for six years, where she was a board member responsible for people and internal communication.
Marta also has extensive experience at Unilever, where she held various HR leadership roles over a span of more than ten years, including HR Director for Poland & Baltics, Senior HR Business Partner for Sales and Marketing CEE, and Leadership Development CEE Lead. Earlier in her career, she worked at Ahold as a Supervisor of the merchandising team.
