Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA – October 2024 – Martha Handrich has started a new position as Vice President, Human Resources at Marcus Hotels & Resorts. In her new role, Martha will be responsible for leading HR operations, supporting strategic growth, and driving employee engagement across Marcus Hotels’ portfolio, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision of excellence in hospitality.
Martha has been with Marcus Hotels & Resorts for over seven years, most recently serving as Senior Director, Human Resources Operations for nearly three years, where she focused on labor relations, employee development, and strategic HR initiatives. Prior to this, she was the Director of Human Resources Operations for nearly five years, managing HR processes across multiple properties.
Her extensive tenure of over 22 years with the Marcus Corporation has seen her hold various HR roles, including Human Resources Manager, where she demonstrated expertise in compensation, benefits, and employee relations. She has also contributed to the Pfister Hotel as the Human Resources Director, focusing on labor relations and team development. Early in her career, Martha was the Human Resources Manager at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center under the Marcus Corporation umbrella, showcasing her deep-rooted connection with the hospitality industry.
Martha’s career began at AT&T as an Account Executive, where she developed strong skills in communication and client management.
