Costa Mesa, California, United States, January 2025 – Marvin Lee has joined Segerstrom Center for the Arts as Vice President of Human Resources, bringing over two decades of expertise in HR leadership, talent strategy, and organizational development. In this role, he will oversee human capital initiatives, culture transformation, and workforce engagement strategies to support the Center’s mission of artistic excellence and community enrichment.
Before joining Segerstrom Center for the Arts, Marvin led HR consulting services as Director of Human Resources at Semper Gratus, Inc., where he provided strategic HR counsel to businesses across e-commerce, healthcare, real estate, and hospitality. His expertise in talent acquisition, policy development, HR technology implementation, and leadership coaching positioned him as a trusted advisor for organizations navigating complex workforce challenges.
Previously, Marvin served as Director of People & Culture at Community Action Partnership of Orange County, where he spearheaded people analytics, talent development, and DEI initiatives, ensuring HR practices aligned with the organization’s mission-driven impact.
Earlier in his career, he held key HR leadership roles at Bloomingdale’s and Massage Envy, where he played a pivotal role in building HR infrastructures, employee engagement strategies, and succession planning frameworks. His ability to foster high-performing teams and drive business transformation has been a defining aspect of his career trajectory.
