Lenexa, Kansas, United States – August 2024 – Mary Chesser has stepped into the role of Senior Director, Human Resources at Quest Diagnostics, where she will oversee HR operations, contributing to the company’s mission of empowering people to take action to improve health outcomes.
Prior to this, Mary Chesser served as the Director, HR Business Partner at Quest Diagnostics Employer Population Health for over three years. In this role, she was instrumental in aligning talent and organizational strategies with business objectives, ensuring a cohesive approach to driving results across the organization.
Before joining Quest Diagnostics, she held the position of Senior Organization Effectiveness Consultant at Black & Veatch in Overland Park, Kansas, where she played a key role in delivering organizational development services to support change, culture, strategy, and alignment initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Mary was the Director of Learning & Organizational Development at Shook, Hardy & Bacon, where she focused on enhancing the firm’s organizational effectiveness and employee development.
Her extensive career also includes significant roles at the City of Olathe as Assistant Director of HR, TWG Consulting as Director of Organizational Development and CLEC/Broadband, Birch Telecom as Director of Process, Implementation, Training, and Sprint as Training Manager.
