Toronto, Ontario, Canada – May 2025 – Lactalis Canada has appointed Matt Price as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), bringing over two decades of HR leadership experience across consumer goods, healthcare, and insurance industries. Based in Toronto, Matt will lead Lactalis Canada’s HR strategy with a focus on talent development, organizational culture, and transformation to support the company’s growth and innovation agenda.
Matt joins Lactalis Canada after a distinguished nine-year tenure at Unilever, where he most recently served as SVP HR, Ice Cream Americas, and earlier as VP Human Resources for North America, overseeing HR for the Nutrition business and operations across the U.S. and Canada. During his time at Unilever, he also held roles including VP HR, East Europe and Head of HR, Canada, playing a pivotal role in major transformation and talent strategies across multiple markets.
Before Unilever, Matt held leadership roles at Mars, where he served as HR Director for both Mars Chocolate North America and Mars Canada, and earlier at GSK as HR Manager. His early career spanned a decade at RSA Canada, where he held progressive HR positions, including Manager of Training & Development in the UK.
Known for his strategic acumen in talent development, business transformation, workforce planning, and M&A, Matt brings a wealth of global HR leadership that will support Lactalis Canada’s continued commitment to people, performance, and purpose.
