Max Healthcare Institute Limited, one of India’s leading hospital chains, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) in the United Kingdom.

The collaboration aims to enhance training, assessment, and certification in obstetrics and gynaecology within India. The partnership will facilitate both entities and help leverage the advancement of medical education and professional development in the field.

It includes provisions for utilizing the latest advancements in training, support, e-learning content, and training e-portfolios. Additionally, the collaboration grants access to 70 RCOG training courses, which can be attended either in-person or virtually. 

Sandeep Budhiraja, Group Medical Director at Max Healthcare Institute Limited, emphasized the significance of the collaboration, stating that it provides valuable opportunities for young health professionals to develop their careers in obstetrics and gynaecology.

The partnership also includes guidance and support for the MRCOG examinations. The memorandum was signed by Rakesh Kaushik, Director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs at Max Healthcare, and Kate Lancaster, Chief Executive of RCOG UK. This collaboration signifies a commitment to advancing healthcare education and promoting excellence in obstetric and gynaecological practices within India.
