Adelaide, South Australia, Australia, June 2025 – Melissa Burridge has stepped into the role of Head of Human Resources at Enerven, marking a significant milestone in her accomplished HR career. In this elevated role, Melissa will lead Enerven’s people strategy, driving talent, culture, and organisational capability as the company supports South Australia’s future-facing infrastructure and energy needs.
With nearly three years at Enerven, Melissa most recently served as Senior Human Resources Business Partner, playing a pivotal role in shaping and implementing HR initiatives aligned with the company’s vision for energy and telecommunications solutions. Her leadership has been instrumental in supporting Enerven’s transformation and workforce engagement.
Before her time at Enerven, Melissa spent a brief but impactful tenure as Senior Human Resources Business Partner at SA Power Networks, the sole electricity distributor for South Australia. In this capacity, she delivered HR support for large-scale operational teams and partnered closely on talent management and workforce planning during a period of business transformation.
Melissa also made significant contributions as Human Resources Manager at Caledonia Group for over three years, where she provided end-to-end HR leadership in the industrial services sector. Prior to that, she spent nearly eight years at Codan Limited, where she advanced from Human Resources Business Partner to Group Human Resources Manager, overseeing HR for multiple business units and supporting company growth.
Her early career includes leadership roles at Scaffidi Pharmacy Services as Human Resources Manager, at Southern Cross Care as Human Resources Advisor, and at Coffey International Development (now Tetra Tech Coffey) as Business Services Manager/HR Coordinator. Melissa began her career as an Executive Assistant at Entrée Recruitment.
