Phoenix, Arizona, United States, March 2025 – Meredith Garner has been appointed as Director Talent Development at Cognite, a leading global industrial Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company. In her new role, Meredith will drive initiatives focused on developing talent strategies, enhancing leadership capabilities, and cultivating a culture of continuous learning to support Cognite’s vision of digital transformation in asset-intensive industries.
Prior to joining Cognite, Meredith served as Global Head of Talent Development at Flare, where she strategically shaped the organization’s talent agenda, overseeing initiatives that strengthened employee growth and global leadership development. Meredith also held the role of Head of People, US at Flare, guiding HR strategies and workforce development within the region.

Earlier in her career, Meredith was the Human Resources Director at Allstate Identity Protection, leading comprehensive HR strategies and driving business outcomes through effective people practices. She initially served as an HR Business Partner, delivering impactful HR solutions and fostering organizational excellence.
Meredith’s prior experience includes an HR Business Partner role at Rainforest QA, as well as significant tenure at Invitation Homes/Waypoint Homes, where she progressed through various roles such as HR Coordinator, Senior HR Generalist, and HR Business Partner. She began her career in HR as an HR Assistant at Mediacom Communications.
