In his expanded role at Apotex Corp., Michael will lead overall U.S. business strategy, commercial operations, portfolio performance, and growth initiatives across the company’s generics, biosimilars, and innovative medicines portfolio. His mandate includes strengthening market presence, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving sustainable growth in one of the world’s most competitive pharmaceutical markets.
Michael has been with Apotex for over 12 years, holding multiple senior leadership positions. Most recently, he served as Vice President, Sales and Marketing, where he led commercial strategy and sales performance across the U.S. market. Prior to that, he was Vice President, Marketing & Portfolio Strategy, driving portfolio optimization, product positioning, and market expansion initiatives.
Earlier in his career, he held operations and sales leadership roles at Mylan Institutional, Bioniche Pharma, Fresenius Kabi USA, and APP Pharmaceuticals, building deep expertise across production planning, sales operations, marketing analytics, and U.S. business operations within the pharmaceutical sector.
With nearly two decades of experience across commercial strategy, operations, and portfolio leadership in the healthcare industry, Michael Bohling’s appointment reflects Apotex Corp.’s commitment to strengthening its U.S. leadership team and accelerating business growth.
