Atlanta, Georgia, United States, July 2025 – Michelle Lukens has joined SANUWAVE as the new Vice President, Human Resources. In this strategic leadership role, Michelle will oversee all facets of HR and organizational culture, bringing her extensive background in global human resources, people operations, and leadership development to support SANUWAVE’s mission of improving patient care through cutting-edge wound healing technologies.
Prior to joining SANUWAVE, Michelle served as Director, Human Resources at Inspire, where she led the full HR function for a distributed team across the United States and India. Her responsibilities spanned talent strategy, compliance, benefits, and employee engagement at one of the world’s largest online health communities and data platforms.
Before that, she was People and Culture Manager at Talon.One, where she played a dual role as business partner to the CRO for the global sales organization and oversaw people operations for the U.S. team, managing payroll, compliance, onboarding, and employee experience for approximately 80 employees.
Michelle spent over four years at Estify, holding multiple leadership roles including Director of HR, Director of Strategic Partnerships, and Director of Operations and People. She was instrumental in transforming the HR function from a PEO model to an in-house structure, launching systems, processes, and infrastructure to support scale and efficiency.
She also held previous HR leadership roles at KNW Group LLC, Alarm.com, and OLR, where she built strong HR systems and led workforce expansion across global geographies. Earlier in her career, Michelle worked with Gander Mountain and Wellbridge, where she gained foundational experience in HR operations, regional support, and employee relations across retail and wellness sectors.
