Denmark/Cyprus, August 2024 – Michelle Roborg-Sondergaard has been appointed as the Group Chief Human Resource Officer at YNV Group, a dynamic portfolio of companies committed to creating positive impacts for teams, clients, and communities. In her new role, Michelle will oversee all aspects of human resources for YNV Group, driving the transformation of HR processes, enhancing the HR service delivery globally, and aligning HR strategies with the overall business goals. Her focus will include elevating the capabilities across the HR team and building expertise across YNV Group’s core business units: TeKnowledge (TEK Experts, Eleva8, Cytek), Everty, Monifai, and Smart Factoring.
Michelle Roborg-Sondergaard brings extensive experience to YNV Group. Prior to this role, she served as the Head of HR Europe Branded and Global Leadership Thought Leader at Scandinavian Tobacco Group for over 2 years. In this role, Michelle led strategic HR initiatives across 10 European markets, driving HR service delivery improvements, leading the development of a global leadership framework, and supporting business transformation projects. Her leadership was instrumental in enhancing engagement scores and leading successful organizational restructuring efforts.
Before that, Michelle was the Vice President of Human Resources at AGC Biologics for approximately 6 months, where she focused on establishing foundational HR activities, revising onboarding processes, and addressing union relationships. She also has experience as the owner of MRS HR Consultancy, where she engaged in leadership development programs for major clients like Yum Foods and Barclays.
Earlier in her career, Michelle served as the Vice President of Human Resources Western Europe at Carlsberg Group for 3 years. There, she played a key role in transforming the HR function into a strong business partner across 17 markets, leading strategic HR projects, and supporting the development of a global people agenda. She was also instrumental in the successful preparation and planning of upgraded HR systems and the implementation of a new performance management process.
Michelle’s career also includes leadership roles at The LEGO Group, where she served as Sr HR Director for Strategic Projects & BP Innovation In Operations, and at Mondelēz International, where she was the Director of Human Resources for Coffee, Cheese, and Grocery Categories across Europe. Additionally, she held key HR roles at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals and Coca-Cola Southern Africa, where she led significant HR transformations and mergers.
