Barcelona, Spain, August 2025 – Mike Bertolami has been appointed as Vice President, People Function at Werfen. In this new role, he will lead the company’s global people strategy, driving talent development, workforce performance, HR service delivery, and strategic human resources leadership across Werfen’s operations in more than 30 countries.
Most recently, Mike served for three years as Business Human Resources Leader at AbbVie, where he was responsible for talent strategy, workforce performance, and delivering innovative HR solutions aligned with business objectives. He played a key role in shaping strategic insights to support organizational growth and enhance HR service delivery.
Before AbbVie, Mike worked for over one year as Senior Director Human Resources at Waters Corporation in Massachusetts, where he led enterprise-wide HR initiatives focusing on talent strategy, performance optimization, and leadership development.
Earlier in his career, Mike spent more than six years at Analog Devices in various senior HR leadership roles, including Global Director of Human Resources – Industrial, Healthcare, Consumer & IoT, Global Director of Human Resources – Global Operations and Technology, and Global HR Business Partner. His tenure involved leading global HR teams across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, implementing workforce planning, managing acquisitions, and delivering organizational design and development projects impacting thousands of employees worldwide.
Mike’s earlier career includes HR leadership roles at Philips, PerkinElmer, The Gillette Company, and Bank of America, where he developed expertise in compensation strategy, HR operations, and talent management across multiple industries and geographies.
