Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, October 2025 — CCI Global has announced the appointment of Mike Schultz as Chief Technology Officer for South Africa and New Markets, underscoring the company’s commitment to advancing technology leadership and digital transformation across its rapidly expanding operations in Africa and beyond.
In his new role, Mike will drive technology strategy, infrastructure modernization, innovation, and cyber resilience across CCI’s network of operations in South Africa and emerging markets. He will also play a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s market expansion initiatives, ensuring technology scalability, security, and customer experience excellence as CCI enters new geographies.
Mike has been with CCI Global for nearly seven years, where he has been instrumental in shaping the company’s technology evolution. Most recently, he served as Chief Technology Officer – Emerging Markets, leading initiatives in cloud transformation, automation, and AI-driven customer experience platforms. His leadership significantly enhanced operational resilience, enabling 99.99% uptime across multi-site BPO operations and establishing robust digital frameworks to support CCI’s expansion into new markets.
Prior to that, he served as Managing Executive at CCI Global, overseeing business operations, financial strategy, and strategic planning across multiple sites. Earlier, as Executive Head of IT, Mike led infrastructure development, IT engineering, and operations management, aligning technology initiatives with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. His tenure saw substantial improvements in service delivery, scalability, and enterprise-wide systems performance.
Before joining CCI Global, Mike spent over six years at LexisNexis South Africa, where he served as General Manager and Information Officer, managing IT strategy, business intelligence, and continuous improvement programs. His Six Sigma–driven approach led to over $6.4 million in cost savings through innovation and process optimization. He also spearheaded more than 60 improvement projects that enhanced efficiency and service quality across the organization.
Earlier in his career, Mike held leadership positions at Ignition Group and Rewardsco, where he managed strategic projects, data modeling, and IT innovation initiatives. As Head of Innovation and later Head of IT Infrastructure, he developed new product frameworks, led IT modernization efforts, and fostered a culture of technological agility. His foundational experiences at Illovo Sugar Africa and PwC further strengthened his expertise in global technology solutions, network operations, and systems integration across multiple African markets.
Mike holds advanced expertise in Business Strategy, IT Strategy, Executive Leadership, Six Sigma Black Belt, and International Service Delivery, reflecting his ability to bridge business growth with technological excellence.
