Houston, Texas, United States, December 2025 — Mitzi Burkinshaw has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer, Americas at Egis, where she will lead the human capital agenda across the Americas, supporting the organization’s business objectives, growth ambitions, and people-first culture.
In her new role, Mitzi Burkinshaw is responsible for elevating the HR function across the region, with a strong focus on employee experience, retention strategies, integrated talent acquisition, learning and development, succession planning, total rewards, and change management. Her mandate includes strengthening organizational culture while aligning workforce strategy with Egis’ long-term infrastructure, engineering, and mobility priorities.
Prior to joining Egis, Mitzi Burkinshaw served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Certerra (formerly RMA Companies), where she led enterprise-wide HR strategy during a period of transformation and growth. Before that, she spent over five years with SGS, holding senior HR leadership roles including Vice President – Human Resources, North America and Vice President of Human Resources, US, partnering closely with leadership teams to advance employee engagement, talent strategy, and organizational effectiveness.
Earlier in her career, she held progressive HR leadership roles at Southwestern Energy and CGG, where she served as Global Human Resources Business Partner supporting large, technically complex divisions. She began her HR journey at PumaTech, where she played a pivotal role in scaling HR operations in a high-growth environment, supporting acquisitions, organizational restructuring, and comprehensive people programs.
With over two decades of HR leadership experience across engineering, energy, professional services, and infrastructure-driven organizations, Mitzi Burkinshaw brings deep expertise in strategic HR, talent management, succession planning, performance management, and employee relations. Her appointment strengthens Egis’ commitment to building resilient, future-ready teams across the Americas.
