London, England, United Kingdom, October 2025 – UNiDAYS, the world’s largest Student Affinity Network, has announced the appointment of Mona Akiki as its new Chief People Officer (CPO). In her new role, Mona will lead the company’s global people strategy, driving inclusion, innovation, and growth across its international operations spanning the UK, US, and Australia.
Mona Akiki is a transformative people leader with over two decades of global experience in building and scaling high-impact HR and culture functions across diverse industries, including technology, financial services, and consulting.
Before joining UNiDAYS, Mona served as Chief People Officer and Chief of Staff at Perkbox, where she played a pivotal role in guiding the company through a period of rapid growth and strategic acquisition. She led culture transformation initiatives, strengthened leadership alignment, and prepared the organization for a successful merger with Vivup Group under Great Hill Partners. Mona was instrumental in embedding a culture of transparency, inclusion, and accountability that sustained the business through intense periods of change and expansion.
In addition to her corporate leadership, Mona is the Founder of Path Forward Limited, an executive coaching and consulting firm that partners with leaders and organizations navigating transformation. Through Path Forward, she has helped companies align engagement, culture, and compliance strategies to thrive in evolving business landscapes.
Her earlier career includes senior HR leadership roles at CPP Investments | Investissements RPC, where she served as Managing Director, Human Resources, and at RBC Capital Markets and CIBC, where she held pivotal HR and business partnership roles across London and North America. Across these positions, Mona demonstrated expertise in organizational design, leadership development, and change management at scale.
