Novi, Michigan, United States, October 2025 – Lydech, a leading provider of thermal and acoustical solutions for the automotive industry, has announced the appointment of Monica Paolini as Global Head of Human Resources. With over 15 years of experience across multinational manufacturing and automotive organizations, Monica brings deep expertise in global HR leadership, organizational development, and talent strategy to her new role.
In her new position, Monica will lead the global HR function at Lydech, reporting directly to the CEO. She will be responsible for shaping and executing comprehensive people strategies encompassing talent acquisition, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and cultural transformation. Her mandate includes partnering with executive leadership to align HR initiatives with business growth and innovation across Lydech’s international operations.
Before joining Lydech, Monica served as Director, Human Resources – Global Talent Acquisition, Attraction, and Strategy at Dana Incorporated, where she reported to the CHRO and led the company’s global talent center of excellence. She designed and implemented enterprise-wide talent strategies, enhanced employer branding, and developed global hiring frameworks that improved recruitment efficiency and strengthened the company’s leadership pipeline.
Previously, Monica held a dual leadership role at AAM – American Axle & Manufacturing as Global HR Leader and HR Business Partner for the Driveline Electrification Business Unit, where she led global TA transformation initiatives across operations, engineering, and manufacturing. Her strategic focus on workforce planning, succession management, and cultural integration supported the company’s expansion into electrification and innovation-driven business segments.
Earlier, she served as Senior Manager, Corporate HR and Global Talent Acquisition at Federal-Mogul Motorparts, where she managed global staffing, talent management, and employer branding initiatives. Prior to that, she worked with FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (Comau) and Continental, where she managed large-scale HR and talent programs, supporting technical recruitment, organizational development, and workforce strategy across North America.
Monica began her HR career at TI Fluid Systems, gaining experience in HR operations and organizational metrics, laying the foundation for her career in global HR leadership. Her career reflects a consistent track record of building high-performing teams, implementing global talent systems, and enabling transformation across complex, matrixed organizations.
