Bukit Raja, Selangor, Malaysia, September 2025 – Pharmaniaga Berhad has appointed Mridhwan Rusli as Head of Training, Talent and Performance Management. In this role, he will be responsible for strengthening organizational resilience, advancing workforce development, and ensuring people remain at the heart of Pharmaniaga’s success in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry.
Prior to this appointment, Mridhwan served as Head of Group Human Resource at Royale Chulan Hotels & Resorts for three years. He provided strategic HR leadership, focusing on organizational development, HR operations, and talent management within the hospitality sector.
Earlier, he worked with Boustead Properties, where he spent nearly three years as Acting Head of Human Capital Business Partner. In this capacity, he managed recruitment, manpower planning, training, performance management, and organizational development strategies, while also overseeing budget management and business partner services.
Before that, Mridhwan was Manager, Human Resource at Boustead Holdings, where he handled HR operations and talent management. He also contributed significantly to Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (KWAP) as Senior Associate, Recruitment & Manpower Planning, where he developed workforce strategies, succession planning frameworks, and manpower optimization initiatives.
He began his career in HR with Malaysia Airports, progressing to Senior Executive – Human Resources, where he played a key role in large-scale recruitment projects, including staffing for KLIA2. His early career included HR roles at High Speed Precision Metal and Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur City Centre, where he built a foundation in training, recruitment, and employee relations.
