NEW YORK — In a significant move to bridge the skills gap in the workforce, tech company Multiverse has announced its acquisition of Searchlight, a California-based talent intelligence and skills assessment platform. Founded in 2018 by Stanford alumni and twins Anna Wang and Kerry Wang, Searchlight utilizes AI to optimize hiring processes and has been a notable player in the tech industry, recognized by Forbes 30 under 30 and backed by leading venture capitalists such as Founders Fund and Accel.
Integrating Advanced AI into Multiverse’s Ecosystem
Searchlight, known for its bias-free AI engine that accurately maps out competencies and job requirements, will bring enhanced capabilities to Multiverse. This acquisition aims to accelerate the integration of generative AI and machine learning within Multiverse’s services, focusing on closing skills gaps more efficiently. “We founded Searchlight to help companies build winning teams equitably and help individuals land meaningful work,” said Kerry Wang, CEO of Searchlight.
Strategic Leadership Roles and Future Outlook
Following the acquisition, key figures from Searchlight will assume significant roles within Multiverse; Kerry Wang will take on the role of Director of Product, and Anna Wang will be appointed Head of AI.
