Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, March 2025 — Namit Baikar has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited (AISATS). With nearly two decades of experience in Aviation, Manufacturing, Retail, and Logistics, he brings a wealth of expertise to AISATS. Before joining AISATS, Namit led Human Capital for SATS India, overseeing HR operations across subsidiaries and joint ventures while also serving as an HC Business Partner for Global Operations and Food Solutions.
His leadership in talent management, strategic HR initiatives, and compliance has been instrumental in driving workforce development across industries.
Prior to SATS, Namit held key HR leadership roles at IKEA, where he managed the company’s market entry and distribution strategy across India and APAC, excelling in employer branding, leadership development, and business transformation.

He also spent eight years at A.P. Moller – Maersk across South Asia and the Middle East, focusing on Business Partnering, Talent Management, and Change Management. Additionally, he contributed to McKinsey & Company’s ‘Operational Excellence’ rollout at Maersk. As a certified leadership coach and Six Sigma Green Belt holder, Namit’s expertise will be pivotal in strengthening AISATS’ human resources framework and organizational growth.
