Abingdon-On-Thames, England, United Kingdom – November 2024 – Natasha Douglas has joined Navitas as the new Director of People and Engagement, UPE. In her role, Natasha will lead strategic initiatives to enhance employee engagement and drive organizational growth within the University Partnerships Europe division. Her extensive experience in human resources and people management positions her to contribute significantly to Navitas’s mission of transforming lives through education.
Before joining Navitas, Natasha served as the HR Director UK & Ireland at Kelly, where she led the redesign of organizational structures and job roles, pivoting the business from a service-focused to a growth-focused model. This strategic shift resulted in a 25% gross profit improvement in the first year. She also rebuilt the people function, introduced performance dashboards, and implemented incentive plans to promote a high-performance culture.
Prior to her tenure at Kelly, Natasha was the Head of HR at The Recruitment Co. for over five years. In this senior leadership role, she developed and executed the overall people strategy, focusing on culture, engagement, and talent acquisition. Her initiatives led to a £1.65 million EBITDA improvement and enhanced employee retention. She also played a critical role in supporting business divestitures and a merger.
Earlier in her career, Natasha held significant roles at PMP Recruitment, progressing from HR Advisor to HR Business Partner. She managed HR operations across multiple sites, implemented people plans to improve profitability, and delivered organizational change programs. Her efforts led to a profitability swing of £460k over two years. Natasha also contributed her expertise at Cordant Group PLC and Prime Time Recruitment, where she managed employment litigation and unified HR policies across different brands.
