London, United Kingdom – November 2024 – Lloyd’s has announced that Nathan Adams will be joining the organization as Chief People Officer early next year, joining the Executive Committee. With extensive experience in HR leadership, organizational design, and culture transformation, Nathan is well-equipped to contribute to Lloyd’s strategic vision for a forward-looking, resilient workforce.
Most recently, Nathan served as Chief People Officer at Aviva Investors for four years, where he focused on enhancing HR best practices, leading diversity initiatives, and advising senior leadership on strategic workforce planning. His contributions included driving organizational effectiveness and advancing talent strategies aligned with business growth, reinforcing a dynamic and inclusive culture.
Prior to Aviva Investors, Nathan was with Aviva as HR Director for over six years, playing a crucial role in delivering HR strategies that supported business transformation. He led global initiatives, including capability development and culture change, overseeing a workforce of approximately 17,000 employees. His leadership helped foster a robust, agile HR function aligned with the company’s corporate objectives.
Earlier, Nathan held the role of Head of HR at Barclays for over three years. He spearheaded HR transformations across multiple global functions and played a key role in developing the Global Risk Academy. His tenure at Barclays also included strategic support for organizational design and development, facilitating impactful HR solutions in line with corporate goals.
