Manipal, Karnataka, India, December 2025 – Naveen Kumar has been appointed as Vice President – Supply Chain Management at Manipal Payment and Identity Solutions Ltd (MPi), where he will lead enterprise procurement, global sourcing, logistics optimisation, and end-to-end supply chain governance across MPi’s highly secure card manufacturing and identity solutions operations. pasted
In his current role at MPi, Naveen is responsible for driving strategic sourcing, procurement governance, international logistics, vendor risk management, ERP-enabled procure-to-pay transformation, and enterprise-wide supply chain digitisation across secure manufacturing operations. pasted
Prior to joining MPi, he spent over eight years with Manipal Academy of Higher Education, where he served as Director – Purchase, In-Charge – Purchase, Deputy Director – Purchase and Assistant Director – Purchase, leading central procurement for more than 40 institutions, delivering large-scale cost optimisation programs, implementing Microsoft Dynamics ERP, strengthening governance committees, and driving strategic sourcing and compliance frameworks.
Earlier, Naveen served for over fourteen years at Manipal Global Education Services as Senior Manager – Logistics and Branch Head, where he led end-to-end procurement, logistics, warehousing, SAP-based transformation, and HR operations across domestic and international markets.
He began his career with Saudi Aramco, where he spent over a decade managing large-scale contracts, SAP security operations, compliance audits, and enterprise HR operations before returning to India and expanding into logistics, procurement, and enterprise supply chain leadership.
