Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, February 2026 – Leadup Universe has appointed Neeraj Deshpande as Assistant Vice President, strengthening its enterprise growth strategy in India.
In his new role, Neeraj will lead the enterprise business for Leadup Universe across India, focusing on building strategic partnerships with large organizations to drive leadership capability, organizational effectiveness, and measurable business outcomes. His mandate includes scaling the enterprise GTM motion, engaging CXOs on transformation priorities, and positioning Leadup Universe as a trusted partner for leadership development and capability-building solutions.
Prior to this appointment, Neeraj was Founder & CEO of Platypus – Be Their Human, where he built India’s first AI-powered petcare platform. Within six months, the venture achieved ~₹3 lakh monthly recurring revenue, delivered over 7,500 services, and onboarded 115+ paying customers—demonstrating his ability to scale business models and drive early-stage traction.
Earlier, Neeraj served as Account Director at Coursera, partnering with enterprises and higher education institutions to accelerate digital learning transformation. He also held leadership roles at Dale Carnegie India, Skillsoft, and WhiteHat Jr, driving consultative enterprise sales and learning technology adoption. His longest tenure was at Work Better Training Pvt. Ltd., where he built and scaled two enterprise learning verticals—Experiential Learning and VLearn—serving 100+ enterprises and delivering over 500 engagements across APAC.
