Pune, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 — Neha Kalia has been promoted to Country HR Manager – India at AkzoNobel, marking a significant expansion of her leadership responsibilities within the organisation. In this role, she will lead the people agenda for AkzoNobel India, driving strategic HR initiatives, strengthening organisational culture, and supporting business transformation across functions.
In her expanded role as Country HR Manager – India, Neha Kalia now carries end-to-end responsibility for HR leadership in India, building on her strong foundation across talent, capability development, and organisational effectiveness within AkzoNobel.
Prior to this promotion, she served as HR Lead – Global Business Services, IT and Finance at AkzoNobel Global Business Services, based in Pune, Maharashtra. In this role, she led HR strategy and execution across diverse capabilities, partnering closely with operational leaders to support growth, digital transformation, and long-term business success while fostering a high-performance, future-ready culture.
Earlier, Neha held the role of Talent Acquisition Lead, Campus Strategy & Employer Branding Head – India & Subcontinent at AkzoNobel, where she led enterprise-wide talent acquisition, campus strategy, and employer branding initiatives. Her work focused on data-driven sourcing, leadership hiring, strengthening employer brand presence, enhancing candidate experience, and embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion into hiring practices.
Before joining AkzoNobel, she served as Talent Acquisition Leader – DSCI at DuPont, where she led strategic recruitment initiatives across India, EMEA, and Asia Pacific, delivering measurable improvements in quality of hire, workforce planning, and employer branding. Earlier in her career, she spent close to five years with Avery Dennison as Leader – Talent Acquisition & HR Business Partner, South Asia & Sub-Saharan Africa, followed by foundational HR roles at Aircel Ltd., Paridhy Staffing & Consulting, and CSG/Nacre HR Outsourcing, building deep expertise across talent acquisition, HR partnering, and workforce strategy.
