Huntsville, Alabama, United States, August 2024 – Wilson Lumber Company has announced the promotion of Nichole Mitchell to the position of Vice President of People and Culture. Nichole has been an invaluable member of the Wilson Lumber team since she joined, and her exceptional leadership, strategic vision, and dedication have been instrumental in shaping the company’s human resources initiatives and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Prior to her promotion, Nichole served as the Senior Director of Human Resources at Wilson Lumber Company, where she led the HR function and played a key role in talent management, employee development, and enhancing HR policies over the past year.
Before that, she was the Director of Human Resources at Wilson Lumber, where she managed HR operations for nearly five years, focusing on employee relations, learning and development, and performance management.
Nichole also served as the Associate Director of Human Resources at Par Pharmaceutical, where she managed HR functions and strategic initiatives for nearly a year, contributing to the company’s growth and success.
Earlier in her career, she worked at Qualitest Pharmaceuticals, where she held various roles, including Sr. HR Business Partner and HR Business Partner, and gained extensive experience in employee relations, strategic HR leadership, and talent management.
Nichole’s career also includes significant experience at Carlex Glass America, Zeledyne LLC, Visteon Corporation, and Ford Motor Company, where she developed her expertise in HR management, labor relations, and employee development.
