Kennesaw, Georgia, United States, December 2024 – Nicole Smith has been named Director of People Operations at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. In her new role, Nicole will provide strategic leadership in talent acquisition, people operations, and learning and development, while driving data-driven decision-making to align organizational goals with operational excellence.
Nicole Smith brings over 15 years of human resources expertise to her new position. Prior to joining Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, she served as Director of People Operations at Acentra Health (Kepro/IMEDECS). There, Nicole was instrumental in leading the People Team, driving a metrics-driven talent culture, and aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
Previously, Nicole held the role of Human Resources Director at Ubique Group, where she managed a multi-state HR team and collaborated with senior leadership to enhance organizational compliance, employee retention, and talent acquisition strategies. Her contributions also included oversight of compensation programs and professional development initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Nicole worked as Human Resources Manager for AloriCares, a division of Alorica Inc., where she partnered with leadership to execute HR strategies, streamline talent acquisition processes, and ensure regulatory compliance. Her role involved managing sensitive HR matters, fostering employee development, and supporting a diverse workforce.
