Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, October 2025 — Nicolle Zuzarte has joined Ocean Software as Chief People Officer, where she will lead the company’s global people and culture agenda. In her new role, Nicolle will focus on advancing Ocean Software’s human capital strategy, fostering high performance, and aligning employee engagement and capability development with the company’s future growth ambitions.
Before joining Ocean Software, Nicolle served as Head of People & Culture at Diversified Communications Australia for over four years, where she successfully led HR strategy for the global media and events organization. She played a key role in shaping a high-performing culture that supported innovation across the company’s diverse business verticals, including events, publications, and digital products.
Earlier in her career, Nicolle spent more than eight years at Telstra, one of Australia’s largest telecommunications companies. During this period, she held senior roles including Senior HR Business Partner and Workforce Strategy Consultant, where she worked on organizational design, leadership development, and agile transformation projects to align workforce strategies with business priorities.
Prior to her tenure at Telstra, Nicolle worked as HR Business Manager at CGU Insurance, where she led transformational initiatives in partnership with PwC and senior leadership, focusing on system, process, and cultural changes. She also gained valuable HR experience at ANZ, Suncorp Group, and AAPT, contributing to large-scale integration and change management programs.
Nicolle began her professional journey in HR at Cochlear Ltd, where she partnered with senior leaders across Australia and Asia to implement HR initiatives that supported business growth. Earlier in her career, she worked with Hudson Global in HR executive search, building her foundation in talent acquisition and leadership resourcing.
In addition to her corporate career, Nicolle is also a contemporary artist and founder of Zuz Arte Gallery, where she creates vibrant abstract works inspired by nature and the sea — blending creativity and leadership into her professional identity.
