Amar joins TransBnk from Deutsche Bank, where he served as Vice President (CMS Product Specialist) and was responsible for the development, strategy and sales management of cash-management & treasury product suites. Amar was responsible for rollout of Payment Acceptance for Deutsche Bank across the APAC region, and has worked closely with local regulators, payment Aggregators and fintechs. His deep experience in banking infrastructure, product innovation and enterprise-scale delivery will be instrumental as TransBnk scales its platform for banks, fintechs and corporates.

Speaking on the appointment, Amar Bhatia, Global Product Head, TransBnk said, “I am thrilled to join TransBnk at such a pivotal point in their transformational journey. The convergence of banking, fintech and platform infrastructure presents a unique opportunity to redefine how corporates and banks transact globally. I look forward to working with the talented team at TransBnk to build world-class products, scale our operations, and create meaningful value for customers and shareholders.”

Vaibhav Tambe, Co-founder & CEO, TransBnk

Vaibhav Tambe, Co-founder & CEO, TransBnk stated, “We are delighted to welcome Amar to the leadership team. His proven track record in developing and scaling banking-grade product platforms will significantly strengthen our product organisation as we build for global growth. With our recent Series B raise and Amar’s appointment, TransBnk is accelerating toward its vision of offering a unified transaction-banking operating system for banks and enterprises – and positioning ourselves as pioneers in the space.

This senior leadership hire follows TransBnk’s recently closed $25 million Series B funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners, which will be used to strengthen its technology and product teams and expand into Southeast Asia and the Middle East. With Amar on board, TransBnk is poised to accelerate its journey toward becoming a global leader in transaction-banking infrastructure – and is laying the groundwork for a future public market opportunity.

About TransBnk:

TransBnk
is an API-based transaction banking platform connecting corporates, fintechs, and lenders to multiple banks through a single unified interface.
