Socomec Group is proud to announce the appointment of Nida Khanam as the Head of Human Resources for the Greater India region, encompassing India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives, Bhutan, and Nepal. This significant appointment reflects Socomec’s commitment to driving transformation and fostering an inclusive culture within the organization.
Nida Khanam, with her profound expertise and passion for developing and leading HR strategies, joins Socomec with a solid background spanning over two decades in the field of human resources. Before stepping into her current role, Khanam was the Chief Human Resource Officer at Omega Seiki Mobility, where she was pivotal in establishing and leading HR strategies that aligned with the business’s objectives and supported its people. Her tenure at Omega Seiki Mobility was marked by significant achievements from May 2022 to March 2024.
Her expertise as an ACC-ICF and Brain-Based Certified Professional Coach, Strategic HR Advisor, and Keynote Speaker, underscores her diverse skill set and profound impact on leadership development and strategic human resource management.
Her prior roles include General Manager & Corporate HR Head at JSL, where she led both corporate HR leadership functions and plant HR for over a year, and Head of Human Resources at Lixil Water Technology (Grohe & American Standard) from 2013 to May 2016. During her time at Lixil Water Technology, Khanam was instrumental in managing the HR function as a strategic and business partner across India.
Khanam also made significant contributions as HR Manager at Rockwell Automation, a global leader in industrial automation, from March 2006 to July 2012. Her responsibilities included leading talent acquisition, management, employee engagement, and communication initiatives, showcasing her ability to influence HR practices on a global scale.
Her early career included roles in HR at an agribusiness organization and as a Senior Executive in Recruitments at an executive search firm, laying the foundation for her successful career in human resources.
