San Francisco Bay Area, California, United States – October 2024 – Nirali (Shah) Matalia has joined Decision Minds as the Chief People Officer & Interim Head of Operations. In her new role, Nirali will oversee HR strategies, drive operational efficiency, and focus on enhancing the organizational culture. Her responsibilities will include aligning talent initiatives with the company’s growth strategies, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting Decision Minds’ mission to deliver cutting-edge data and AI solutions.
Prior to joining Decision Minds, Nirali has been an Advisory Board Member at Rocket Lawyer since 2015, where she provided strategic guidance on organizational development, culture, and HR transformations. She has also been a Company Advisor at SaaS Research since 2018, advising on HR strategies, equity management, and total rewards.
Before that, Nirali served as Vice President, Global Head – Operations & People at Astraa from December 2022 to March 2024. During her tenure, she led global HR operations, focusing on DEIB initiatives, total rewards, and talent development. Nirali drove operational enhancements and aligned HR strategies with business goals, contributing to Astraa’s growth and transformation.
Earlier, Nirali spent over 17 years at Saama Technologies, where she held various roles, including Vice President, Global Head – Operations & People, Senior Director of Operations & People, and Director of Operations & HR. At Saama, she implemented DEIB initiatives, designed incentive programs, and developed total rewards strategies, significantly contributing to organizational growth and culture.
Nirali’s career began in marketing and operations roles at Adani Group and Planet Health. At Adani, she successfully launched the Adani Hypermarket, conducting market research, forming strategic alliances, and managing inventory. At Planet Health, she led membership sales, franchise operations, and customer loyalty programs, achieving a 91% retention ratio.
