Delhi, India, June 2025 – the LEGO Group has appointed Nitin Saluja as Director – Government & Public Affairs, India. In this strategic leadership role, Nitin will lead the company’s engagement with policymakers, industry partners, and government stakeholders, helping advance LEGO Group’s growth agenda and brand reputation across India.
Before joining the LEGO Group, Nitin served as Senior Manager, Public Policy – India at Amazon, where he led public policy engagement across e-commerce operations, digital media, and crisis management, while also driving advocacy for new business models in emerging sectors such as e-pharmacy and agriculture. He played a key role in shaping regulatory pathways, leading outreach to central and state governments, and establishing strategic public-private partnerships for Amazon in one of the world’s most dynamic markets.
Earlier, Nitin was Director, Public Policy at ByteDance, responsible for building public dialogue around digital innovation and user safety, and for managing government relations impacting TikTok’s policy landscape in India. His prior tenure at Facebook as Policy Programs Manager (Government & Politics Outreach) – India, South & Central Asia, saw him manage and scale programs focused on elections, civic engagement, and community campaigns, collaborating with policymakers, ministries, advocacy groups, and NGOs to strengthen social impact initiatives.
Nitin also held key consulting roles at the National Institute for Smart Government (NISG) and the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, where he shaped citizen engagement for Digital India and designed communication strategies to support national e-governance projects. His early experience includes project roles with The World Bank, EY, and volunteer leadership in national youth and sporting initiatives.
Nitin holds a Master of Science in Public Management and Governance from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
