Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, June 2025 – Simero Ceramic has announced the appointment of Dr. Gaurav Buch as Chief Human Resources Officer and Director HR & Admin. In this pivotal role, Dr. Buch will drive HR strategy, business planning, and organizational transformation for one of India’s most innovative luxury tile brands, focusing on capability building, performance management, and the end-to-end employee experience.
Before joining Simero Ceramic, Dr. Buch was Global CHRO at Scion International LLC, overseeing global HR, administration, and employer branding for a leading multinational in the cosmetics and fragrance sector. There, he managed people operations across the UAE, India, UK, USA, Germany, and France, contributing to the success of world-renowned brands and private-label partnerships with industry giants.
Earlier, he served as Vice President – HR CC & Administration at Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited, one of India’s largest pharmaceutical conglomerates, where he led high-performing talent acquisition, talent management, and major HR transformations for a 10,000+ employee base. He played a critical role in change management, M&A restructuring, and building a proactive, high-performance culture.
Prior to that, Dr. Buch held the role of CHRO & Group Head HR at Rasna International, where he was responsible for HR, Admin, and CSR across multiple manufacturing units and regional offices, impacting over 1,800 employees with a global footprint in more than 60 countries. His earlier leadership experiences also include senior HR roles at GHCL Limited, Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Pvt. Ltd., Suzlon Group, and Essar Oil Ltd., where he drove workforce scaling, policy design, and talent development in diverse and challenging environments.
With over 24 years of HR leadership experience, Dr. Buch brings expertise in scaling start-ups, HR operations streamlining, employer branding, strategic workforce planning, and business-aligned people strategy. He is recognized for his entrepreneurial spirit, strong execution, and commitment to building high-impact HR functions.
