Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India, March 2026 – DB City Mall has appointed Nityanand Jha as Center Director, reinforcing its leadership as one of Central India’s most prominent retail and lifestyle destinations. This appointment comes at a time when organized retail spaces are increasingly focusing on enhancing customer experience, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.
In his new role, Nityanand will oversee strategic operations, tenant management, customer experience, and business growth initiatives across the mall ecosystem, ensuring continued leadership in performance and footfall.
Nityanand Jha brings extensive leadership experience across retail operations, finance, and mall management. Most recently, he served at The Phoenix Mills Ltd., where he progressed through multiple leadership roles including Centre Director, Deputy Centre Director, Senior General Manager, and Finance Controller. During his tenure, he played a key role in financial planning, operational efficiency, budgeting, compliance, and retailer relationship management, contributing to the success of large-scale retail destinations.
Earlier, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Maruti Suzuki Machino Techno Sales Ltd., where he was responsible for financial strategy, working capital management, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring strong financial governance and business continuity.
Prior to this, he worked as Deputy General Manager at Maruti Suzuki Dewars Garage Limited, overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and audit processes, strengthening organizational financial systems.
He also spent several years with Gillanders Arbuthnot & Co. Ltd., where he developed deep expertise in corporate finance, financial reporting, audits, ERP implementation, and strategic financial planning, supporting organizational growth and operational efficiency.
