Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2025 – Nivedita Prakasham has been elevated to the role of Associate Director, Communications at Marsh McLennan, marking a significant milestone in her nearly five-year journey with the global professional services firm. In her new position, she will continue to drive strategic communications initiatives while expanding her influence across brand storytelling, internal engagement, and leadership communications.
Nivedita has held multiple roles at Marsh McLennan, most recently serving as Senior Manager, Communications for two years, where she was instrumental in spearheading key campaigns in employer branding and strategic messaging. She also served as Brand Communications Manager and Deputy Manager – Communications, where she drove integrated communications strategies, digital storytelling, and employee engagement programs.
Prior to joining Marsh McLennan, she was Corporate Communications Manager at Shell, where she led internal communication programs on a global scale and supported large-scale employee engagement initiatives. Her earlier experiences include serving as Head of Corporate Communications at NRI Group of Institutions and holding various project management roles with responsibilities spanning education, marketing, compliance, and process improvement.
Nivedita began her career at Tata Consultancy Services, where she worked as a Project Management Officer and built expertise in performance metrics, client servicing, and stakeholder communication. She holds a PGDM in Marketing Communications from K J Somaiya Institute of Management, which has supported her interdisciplinary approach to strategic communications and leadership.
