New York, United States, June 2025 — Pamela Gupta has been appointed as the Global Program Director for Responsible AI at HCLTech, a strategic leadership move reinforcing the company’s commitment to building secure, ethical, and human-centered AI solutions across its global enterprise ecosystem.

Recognized globally for her pioneering work in AI governance and cybersecurity, Pamela is the CEO of Trusted AI™ and the creator of the AI @TIPS™ framework. She was recently awarded the prestigious 2025 Joseph J. Wasserman Award by the ISACA New York Metropolitan Chapter for her lifetime contributions to digital trust. Her leadership credentials include advisory roles with the Pentagon, board memberships in institutions such as the University of New Haven, and chair positions within the IEEE Standards Association on AI and IoT Cybersecurity.

In her new role, Pamela is spearheading enterprise-wide initiatives to embed trust and accountability into AI transformation programs for Fortune 500 clients. She is aligning frameworks with global standards such as ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF, and the EU AI Act, leveraging advanced governance tools including IBM watsonx.governance. Her efforts will help clients meet evolving compliance mandates and elevate stakeholder trust in AI deployments.

Pamela’s career spans over two decades in cybersecurity and digital innovation leadership at major global institutions. At Avon, she served as Global Information Security Officer, building a comprehensive security program across business and technical domains. Prior to that, at Time Warner, she designed enterprise-wide security architecture, contributing to strategic risk mitigation across the organization.

She also held pivotal roles at Gartner Group, Wells Fargo, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts, where she developed forward-looking cybersecurity strategies and implemented frameworks that bridged risk with innovation. Pamela’s work has consistently combined technical depth with regulatory foresight, placing her at the forefront of responsible AI transformation.
